SALARY: $5,473.00 monthly minimum, commensurate with experience

STATUS & HOURS: Full-time, regular (approximately 2,088 annual hours) position.

BENEFITS: Eligible to participate in State Employee Group Insurance Program and a retirement program with employer contribution. Generous vacation and sick time accruals with additional paid holidays.

DESCRIPTION: This position exists to act as a project management liaison within the Infrastructure & Business Applications department as well as in service to other MNHS departments requiring technical support. This position will identify and work with various product owners on multi-department projects requiring technical assistance, and work with IT department staff to set a priority on those projects. This position will also service as a primary security specialist.

SUMMARY OF WORK: 1) Lead project work groups to advance innovative technology infrastructure and business application strategy and solutions across MNHS; 2) Provide network expertise to the department and digital teams in order to maintain and provide technical support: 3) Assist in ensuring overall digital security; 4) Maintain awareness of technology advances, finding ways to implement and keep MNHS digital solutions up to date and impactful; and 5) Provide overall direction for hiring, training, supervision, and motivation for assigned staff, interns, and volunteers, and ensure overall compliance with MNHS policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, management information systems, or related area.

● Project management experience across a medium sized organization.

● Five years managing data security utilizing group policy, network file and folder permissions in Active Directory

● Five years experience with PCI compliance rules and regulations.

● Experience acting as a technical resource on issues regarding computer operations, data communications, and networking technologies.

● Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

● Ability and willingness to travel.

● Valid driver’s license.

● Problem-solving; the ability to design and implement effective and appropriate solutions.

● Simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions that are data driven.

● Communicating, both orally and written, including preparing and delivering reports and presentations for both professional and lay audiences.

● Customer service and interpersonal communications skills sufficient to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

● Multitasking, working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, prioritizing and adapting to changing priorities.

● Working independently and taking individual initiative while also being able to collaborate effectively and contribute positively in a team environment.

● Strong analytical and organizational skills with a demonstrated results orientation.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

● Knowledge of the principles of organization, management, leadership, administration and a demonstrated skill in applying these principles.

● The technologies customers are using to drive and deliver digital innovation.

● Agile principles and methodologies.

● Trello, Jira or similar project management tools

● Accessibility issues and strategies (both usability- and disability-related).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

● Three years previous IT team supervision.

● Experience working in an IT department at an organization of 500+ staff.

● Experience working in a Google environment with Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and GCP suite.

● Experience working with Microsoft products and services.

● Experience with Tessitura software configuration.

● Experience with Shopify and integration opportunities with Munus and Tessitura.

● Network computer experience in a cultural organization such as a museum, library or education institution.

● Ability to communicate and to establish and maintain positive interpersonal contacts to serve effectively in the technical support functions for all levels of personnel.
