The Mission of Southwestern Indiana Collections Connection Association (SICCA) is to provide no-cost, collections care related professional development opportunities to the southwestern Indiana region. SICCA also strives to promote networking and institutional collaborations. Currently SICCA is comprised of cultural institutions from Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois. The types of institutions included museums, libraries, historic homes, archives, historical societies, and state parks.

SICCA currently offers five core activities each year - annual meeting, workshop, lunch/dinner networking, hands-on volunteer service, and behind-the-scene field trip to non-member institution. SICCA continues to grow each year and additional activities are often added to the roster.

Membership in SICCA is opened to anyone who desires to learn and upholds the best practices of collections care and commits to the preservation of cultural heritage and artifacts.
