(Full Time-40hrs/week | On-Site at Castle Museum of Saginaw County History)

This position is focused on guest services and administrative duties.

Job Duties:

Guest Services

1. Schedule and manage Front Desk and personnel and ensure proper staffing at museum at all times while open to public

2. Answer incoming calls and direct phone traffic

3. Manage Membership including annual Membership Drive

4. Manage booking and payments for Morley Room rentals, serve as liason with custodian regarding room setup and schedule

5. Issue acknowledgement letters for all donations received


6. Schedule, prepare, and document Board of Directors meetings

7. Maintain personnel records, in-process and train new staff members as appropriate

8. Order/Purchase supplies for office and events (Lunch n Learn, etc)

9. Open/sort mail and forward to proper staff members

10. Collect reports from Out-County museums, create and submit quarterly reports to County,

11. Manage key access/storage for staff

12. Prepare all invoices and forward to Financial Services provider

13. Compile and prepare checks/cash for deposit

14. Participate in Annual Financial Audit as needed

15. Other administrative duties as determined by President/CEO

Required Skills:

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems, Microsoft, and Google suites
Customer Service Experience

Other Info:

Job is Full Time with Retirement benefits, 40/hrs per week
Job is not remote. 40/hrs per week (may include some weekends and special events) is onsite at Castle Museum of Saginaw County History
Starting Salary: $45,000 + up to 9% Employer non-matching retirement contribution. Employee may contribute additional
