Thrive Payments and the Association of Midwest Museums (AMM) announced an alliance designed to provide access to improved payment acceptance services for AMM members. As a result of this alliance, every AMM member will have the opportunity to enhance their existing merchant services program, decrease expenses and improve their data security. In addition, every AMM member processing through Thrive Payments increases the company’s support of AMM’s mission and work to further the museum field.

Stated Charity Counts, Executive Director of the AMM, “The Association of Midwest Museums is excited to partner with Thrive Payments to bring new benefits to our members, including the opportunity to take advantage of AMM group program benefits for credit card processing services. We are always seeking ways to add value for our members and we are pleased when AMM corporate members wish to collaborate to better serve our colleagues.”

Ted Keith, Jr., CEO of Thrive Payments noted “This alliance will help AMM members reduce expenses, utilize new technologies and strengthen their data security programs. Our suite of products includes mobile and tablet-based systems as well as the ability to integrate secure, cloud-based POS system integration for larger museums.” Keith also noted “Analyzing payment acceptance services is challenging for any organization, involving complex pricing, technical PCI-DSS data security requirements and new technologies, such as EMV-chip, acceptance and smartphone-based processing such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Android Pay. Our objective is to help AMM members optimize their service, saving them money and improving the guest experience.”

Keith noted that Thrive Payments offers a broad array of payment products and services, including NCR Silver tablet-based POS systems, AprivaPay Plus mobile acceptance, Verifone point-of-sale hardware systems, five different processing platforms, Apriva secure gateway services and concierge data security services from Payload Networks, LLC.

Thrive Payments is active in the museum industry and is a member of all six regional museum associations in the U.S.
