Each gift supports Midwest museums!
The Annual State Challenge brings together rivaling states for a common cause: our love of Midwest museums. We invite proud museum people across the region to join in this friendly competition. Contributions to the AMM Annual Fund through the Annual State Challenge help us to sustain core programs and services – from our awards program and free biweekly meetups to ongoing advocacy efforts and the development of future training series.
The Prize
The winning state will get a prize – ultimate bragging rights and recognition at the annual conference – but the true reward is aiding in the success of AMM.
Winning is easy: Be the team with the highest number of points by 11:59 PM Central on December 31. Every gift, no matter the size, will score a point for your team. Make your contribution and keep track of the leaderboard on our State Challenge website.
The Goal
This year’s goal is $26,000. You can help us by making a gift today.
Here are the options for scoring points for your team:
- Make a donation online. Click on your state’s scorecard to get started.
- Purchase limited edition Proud Museum Person pins. These make great gifts for museum-loving friends! Use the donation form on your state’s page to make your purchase.
- Send a check payment to the Association of Midwest Museums, PO Box 6267, Fishers, IN, 46038-6267.
- Sign up to serve as a State Captain! If your love of museums in the Midwest is overflowing, consider signing up to be a captain. Click “Be a State Captain,” build your own fundraising page, and encourage family, friends, and peers to chip in.
- Be a State Champion! Another way to support the effort is to make a contribution and share your testimonial. Your State Captains will use your story in their campaign efforts. Contact AMM if you are interested.
- Purchase a new membership or upgrade your current one to one of our donor levels – George R Fox Society (individuals), Stanfield Institutional Leadership Circle (museums), or Brigham Corporate Leadership Circle (companies). Upgrades can be made from your profile page at members.midwestmuseums.org.
