MRC

MRC History
The Midwest Registrars Committee (MRC) is affiliated with the Registrars Committee, American Association of Museums (RC-AAM) and with the Association of Midwest Museums (AMM). The MRC formed in 1978 to provide a forum for the exchange of information and methods among Registrars and individuals in related work fields in order to foster professional growth. Our goal remains to establish an atmosphere of mutual aid and cooperation among Registrars in the Midwest region and to enhance the development of professional practices in the field through networking, publications, support of regional workshops and other means. Starting its 30th year, the MRC continually changes to meet the daily concerns of its members and to plan for the future.

MRC Membership Benefits

A non-voting membership is available for individuals who are associated with for-profit organizations such as shipping companies, customs brokers, insurance firms, and other suppliers of materials and services, and individuals who reside outside of the Midwest region.
