AMM Confirms Evening Event Schedule for 2013 Conference
Rooftop Garden at the Madison Children's Museum
Chazen Museum
AMM has scheduled an exciting slate of evening events and activities at this year's annual conference, Locally Grown, Community Created, which is
scheduled for July 14-17 in Madison, Wisconsin. On Sunday, July 14, AMM will host an opening reception at the newly expanded and beautifully renovated
Chazen Museum of Art. The following evening, conference attendees will spend an evening outdoors at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center and the Olbrich Botanical
Garden. Following the receptions and tours at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center and the Olbrich Botanical Garden, AMM has scheduled a Pub Crawl in downtown
Madison. Join colleagues and friends for a pub crawl and visit several popular pubs, sample local beers, and create lasting memories as we circle around
the Madison's Capitol Square. Besides great fun there will be a prize for the sleuths that can find all the clues! On Tuesday, July 16, AMM has scheduled
a progressive tour of the four fabulous museums that populate downtown Madison. Join friends and colleagues for a fun-filled evening tour of these four
wonderful museums, which are all located within two blocks of the conference hotel, and sample local cuisine, including cheese curds, brats and ice cream.
We'll begin with hors d'oeuvres at the Wisconsin Historical Museum and the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. Later, we'll enjoy dessert on the rooftops patios at
the Madison Children's Museum and the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. All museums are within two blocks of the Concourse Hotel.
