In an effort to think outside of the proverbial box, AMM will partner with the Mountain Plains Museum Association (MPMA) in 2008 to present a joint annual conference, Meeting in the Middle. The conference is scheduled for October 21-24, 2008 at the Hotel Phillips in Kansas City, Missouri. AMM has secured a special conference rate of $110 at this beautiful, historic hotel, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The joint conference will provided expanded opportunities for learning and networking while showcasing some of the outstanding museums in Kansas City. It truly is a meeting in the middle, one you won't want to miss!
