Position Overview

The Goldstein Museum of Design in the College of Design at the University of Minnesota is seeking a Registrar/Exhibition Coordinator. This position is responsible for registration and exhibition operations for the museum. This position reports to the Museum Director.

Appointment Details:

This is a 100%-time, 12-month civil service appointment, with a job classification title of Museum Associate 3, job code # 8415A3.

Salary Range: $49,920 to $53,000

Job Responsibilities Include:

Collections Management:  40%
Exhibition Management: 40%
Supervisor: 15%
Other duties:  5%

GMD is devoted to advancing the understanding of design through exhibitions, research, preservation, and education.  Founded in 1976, GMD’s emphasis on design that touches people’s lives is based on the teaching and collections of Harriet and Vetta Goldstein, professors in the University’s Design Department from 1910 to the late 1940s.
