The Exhibit Developer is responsible for coordinating key aspects of exhibit and experience development for new museum experiences and revisions of current gallery experiences for The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. The developer serves as visitor advocates to ensure exhibits and experiences relate to key audiences in developmentally appropriate ways. They participate in exhibit revisions and new experiences as well as small installations and element refurbishments in current galleries.  The incumbent is instrumental in the front-end evaluation, formative evaluation, idea generation, writing exhibit big idea and messages, writing conceptual documents, script and storyboard writing, label writing, research, activity and content prototyping, and remedial evaluation. The developer leads or coordinates the gathering and synthesis of information regarding appropriate content, approaches, best practices and existing work on exhibit topics.    Salary: $58,000 USD per year
