The AAC Educator plans and delivers classroom sessions for the Haggerty Museum of Art’s outreach program Art Across Curriculum (AAC), as well as gallery tours for AAC participating K-12 schools throughout the academic year. AAC is a free, multi-visit program for Milwaukee area schools that utilizes works of art from the Haggerty Museum of Art’s collection to explore interdisciplinary subjects over the course of 2-3 classroom sessions that feature inquiry-based discussions and hands-on activities. Assists in developing appropriate lessons for each classroom session, and may make adaptions to lessons in collaboration with the classroom teacher with approval. Responsible for planning, set-up, delivery, clean-up and evaluation of both classroom visits and gallery tours throughout the academic year. During the summer months, will work closely with the Manager of Community Engagement to develop new lessons, finalize evaluation reports, and make updates to content as necessary. Wage range: $15 – 17 per hour
