Arlington Heights Historical Society Operations Manager, organizes and manages the Farmers Market, seeks membership renewals, volunteer coordination, member and volunteer recruitment, provides support for Museum special events, seeks sponsorship agreements with local businesses, publishes the Dunton Post, and supports the annual fundraising campaign. This  includes coordination with the Farmers Market Committee, Arlington Heights Historical Society Board or chairperson and Museum Administrator. The Manager ensures that all elements are in place and serves as a positive, energetic advocate for the market and museum.

Approximately 30 hours a week, June – September during the Farmers Market season, Saturdays are a must. October- May, 25 hours a week. Overtime, night, weekend and holiday work hours as required. $17-$20 per hour based on experience.

The Historical Society is a not-for-profit organization and raises funds to fulfill its mission of preserving local history through memberships and donations. The Historical Society is a partner of the Arlington Heights Historical Museum. The museum is located near downtown Arlington Heights at West Fremont Street and North Vail Avenue, the site of the Frederick W. Müller home and soda pop factory. The museum complex includes the original 1882 Victorian home, the coach house, 1906 soda pop factory, the 1908 Banta house and a replica 1830’s log cabin.
